Position Overview – as Accounts Payable Specialist:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to support our financial operations. In this fast-paced, collaborative environment, you’ll be key to processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and keeping our financial records audit-ready.

What You’ll Do – as Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and secure proper approvals
• Code and enter invoices into the accounting system accurately
• Process payments via manual checks or company credit cards
• Investigate and resolve vendor discrepancies promptly
• Assist with audit preparation by providing required documentation
• Support annual 1099 form preparation
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth payment operations

What We’re Looking For – as Accounts Payable Specialist:

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Effective multitasking and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Clear communication and solid customer service skills
• Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills
• Reliable team player with a collaborative mindset

Preferred:

• Prior experience specifically in Accounts Payable
• Experience with data entry tasks
• Familiarity with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
