VP of Fleet Lifecycle & Profitability

WHC Worldwide is seeking a strategic, results-oriented VP of Fleet Lifecycle & Profitability to own and elevate our nationwide fleet strategy into a core driver of competitive advantage and financial performance.

This executive leadership role is responsible for the full lifecycle of our vehicle assets—spanning acquisition, optimization, and remarketing—with direct accountability for maximizing ROI, improving margins, and scaling operational excellence across a large, multi-state footprint. You will serve as the enterprise leader and subject matter authority on fleet economics, leveraging data, market intelligence, and disciplined execution to ensure every asset delivers maximum value.

This is a high-visibility role with significant influence on company profitability, capital allocation, and long-term growth strategy.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

  • Own enterprise fleet strategy and financial performance, optimizing asset lifecycle decisions to maximize profitability, efficiency, and return on capital
  • Define and execute lifecycle management strategy across acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and disposition—ensuring peak asset productivity at every stage
  • Partner with executive leadership to align fleet investment strategy with organizational growth objectives, market conditions, and capital priorities
  • Lead data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, financial modeling, and market insights to guide buy/hold/sell strategies and improve asset performance
  • Drive cost optimization and margin expansion through disciplined vendor management, negotiation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Oversee multi-state titling, registration, and compliance operations, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and zero-risk execution
  • Optimize tax strategy and asset transfer processes to reduce cost and enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with auctions, wholesalers, OEMs, and resale partners to maximize recovery values and market competitiveness
  • Establish standardized processes and controls for vehicle condition reporting, asset evaluation, and resale readiness
  • Ensure compliance excellence and audit readiness across all fleet-related activities
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering accountability, execution discipline, and a results-driven culture
  • Deliver executive-level insights and reporting that inform critical financial and operational decisions

What You Bring

  • Proven executive or senior leadership experience in fleet management, automotive operations, asset lifecycle management, or vehicle remarketing
  • Deep expertise in multi-state titling, registration, and regulatory compliance with the ability to operate at scale
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitability, reducing costs, and improving asset recovery outcomes
  • Strong financial acumen with a clear track record of managing ROI, margins, and capital efficiency
  • Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into decisive action
  • Extensive experience negotiating and managing high-value vendor and partner relationships
  • Track record of building scalable systems, processes, and teams across large, complex fleet operations (1,000+ vehicles preferred)
  • Background in auctions, wholesale, dealership, or high-volume automotive environments strongly preferred
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment
  • Ownership mindset with a focus on accountability, execution, and measurable results
