WHC Worldwide is seeking a forward-thinking, results-driven Chief Fleet Strategy & Asset Performance Officer to transform and lead our nationwide fleet strategy into a key engine of competitive advantage and financial success.
This executive role oversees the complete lifecycle of our vehicle assets—from acquisition through optimization to disposition—with full accountability for maximizing return on investment, strengthening margins, and scaling operational excellence across a multi-state footprint. You will serve as the organization’s leading authority on fleet strategy and economics, using data, market insights, and disciplined execution to ensure every asset performs at its highest potential.
This is a highly influential position with direct impact on profitability, capital strategy, and long-term organizational growth.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Own and drive enterprise-wide fleet strategy and financial performance, maximizing asset utilization and return on capital
- Design and execute lifecycle management strategies across acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and resale to ensure optimal productivity
- Partner with executive leadership to align fleet investments with growth goals, market trends, and capital priorities
- Lead data-driven strategies, leveraging analytics and financial modeling to inform buy, hold, and sell decisions
- Improve margins and reduce costs through strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and operational efficiencies
- Oversee multi-state titling, registration, and compliance operations with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and risk mitigation
- Optimize tax strategies and asset transfer processes to improve cost efficiency
- Build and manage relationships with auctions, OEMs, wholesalers, and resale partners to maximize recovery value
- Establish standardized processes for fleet evaluation, condition reporting, and readiness for resale
- Ensure compliance excellence and audit preparedness across all fleet activities
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team with a focus on accountability and measurable outcomes
- Provide executive-level reporting and insights to guide critical business decisions
What You Bring
- Proven executive or senior leadership experience in fleet management, automotive operations, asset lifecycle strategy, or vehicle remarketing
- Deep expertise in multi-state titling, registration, and compliance within large-scale operations
- Demonstrated success driving profitability, cost reductions, and improved asset recovery performance
- Strong financial acumen, with a track record of optimizing ROI, margins, and capital deployment
- Advanced analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into strategic action
- Extensive experience managing high-value vendor partnerships and negotiations
- Experience scaling systems, teams, and processes across large fleet operations (1,000+ vehicles preferred)
- Background in auctions, wholesale, dealership operations, or high-volume automotive environments strongly preferred
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Ownership mindset with a focus on accountability, execution, and results
