zTrip, North America's largest taxi transportation provider, is seeking a highly motivated Regional Transportation Operations Manager to oversee and support operations across multiple markets, including Kansas City, MO and surrounding locations. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced operations professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about growing teams, improving performance, and delivering exceptional transportation services.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will travel between markets to support local operations, develop high-performing teams, optimize fleet performance, and drive strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Do as a Regional Transportation Operations Manager:

Multi-Market Operations Leadership

• Travel regularly to support, improve, and expand operations across multiple locations
• Provide leadership and operational guidance to local management teams
• Help stabilize and strengthen performance in developing and established markets
• Ensure consistency in service standards and operational execution across all assigned locations

Strategic Growth & Business Development

• Execute strategies that support market expansion and revenue growth
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Partner with leadership to implement initiatives that drive long-term business success
• Support the growth of transportation services in new and existing markets

Fleet & Operational Performance

• Oversee daily transportation operations and fleet utilization
• Evaluate operational performance and implement process improvements
• Ensure vehicle availability, reliability, and operational readiness
• Resolve operational challenges while maintaining service excellence

Team Development & Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and support local managers, staff, and independent contractor drivers
• Create a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and leadership development to strengthen local teams
• Promote employee engagement and operational excellence throughout the organization

Customer & Partner Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and stakeholders
• Ensure high-quality service delivery across all markets
• Represent the company during client meetings, partnership discussions, and contract negotiations
• Support initiatives that enhance customer retention and satisfaction

Safety, Compliance & Financial Management

• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations
• Maintain safety standards and operational best practices across all locations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and cost-control initiatives
• Monitor performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve operational and financial objectives

Qualifications of a Regional Transportation Operations Manager:

• 5–10 years of leadership experience in transportation operations, fleet management, logistics, or multi-unit management
• Experience managing budgets and operational performance, including P&L responsibilities preferred
• Proven success leading teams across multiple locations or markets
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75% or as business needs require)
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on growth, efficiency, and innovation
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to adapt to changing business needs
• Passion for developing people and improving operational performance
