What You'll Do as a Fleet Tech:

Maintenance & Repairs

• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Complete oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and other routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot vehicle problems and perform effective repairs.
• Identify potential issues before they lead to costly breakdowns.

Inspections & Safety

• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Verify vehicles meet company and safety standards.
• Document findings and recommend necessary repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are road-ready before returning to service.

Fleet Support

• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep vehicles available and on the road.
• Prioritize repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist with urgent vehicle repairs when needed.
• Support overall fleet reliability and performance goals.

Shop Operations

• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.
• Assist with parts inventory and shop organization.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Qualifications of a Fleet Tech:

Preferred Experience

• Experience as an Automotive Technician, Fleet Technician, Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience working on fleet vehicles, commercial vehicles, vans, or light-duty trucks preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and repair software.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
